The RCU at The Pavilion at Piketon has operated for 40 years and was one of the first units of its kind at a skilled nursing center. The unit accommodates about 20 ventilators or tracheostomy tubes. The RCU is staffed to ensure your patient gets the respiratory care he or she needs. To get your patient to the next appropriate level of care, The Pavilion at Piketon offers a team of social services, dietary and therapy professionals.

Patients at the Respiratory Care Unit (RCU) at The Pavilion at Piketon are monitored by respiratory therapists 24 hours 7 days a week. The unit is equipped with various pieces of state-of-the-art technology that are monitored by the experienced staff to give patients the opportunity to wean from their assistive device and breathe easily.
